TACKLE FOOTBALL REGISTRATION '26 - Fall 2026

The registration cost includes the following:

  • Player practice pack (RJT Dri-Fit shirt, shorts, socks) & practice jersey
  • Use of all necessary equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, bag, uniform)
  • Game and practice fields with lights, EMT's & officials
  • End of season event and awards

The following documentation required at Equipment Pickup in July:

1. 2026 SAC Medical Clearance Form - Must be dated after 4/15/26

2. Copy of Birth Certificate

3. $300 Equipment Deposit Check (Check will not be cashed unless equipment is not returned)

4. 8 volunteer hours required (12 total for multiple athletes). A $500 ($750 for multiple) Volunteer Deposit Check is required. Check will not be cashed unless volunteer hours are not completed by the last game of the season OR you are a no-show for any scheduled shift. You can buy out hours up-front at registration.

5. Copy of the year-end Report Card to prove grade level or School Enrollment Verification Form

Frequently Asked Questions
  • When does the season start?: Football practices begin on Monday, July 20th and will be held 4-5 nights per week from 6-8:30pm until school starts and then will go down to 3 nights per week, 6-8pm. The season runs through the second week of November. They will start at Twin Oaks Park and then likely move to RHS.
  • Is there any pre-season trainings?: Yes! RJT Football FUNdamentals are non-contact football trainings held on Sunday evenings from 5-7pm at RHS. These will run from April 12-May 17, (except Mother's Day). These are free but you must register!
  • What is included in registration costs?: Player practice pack (RJT shirt & shorts), practice jersey, game day socks, use of equipment (helmet, pads, bag, etc), fields & lights, emergency response, officials & end of season event/awards
  • Is there a payment plan option?: Yes there is BUT not for Early Bird Registration. Once Regular Registration Opens on March 20th there will be a Payment Plan of $200, then 3 more payments of $100 each subsequent month. Must be paid off by August 31st and doesn't cover the $50 raffle tickets
  • Is there any required fundraising?: Yes! RJT is a non-profit organization and all money raised goes back into the program. Each player is required to participate in a raffle. $50 will be collected at registration but you can recoup the fee by selling the tickets (10 at $5 each). The funds collected for ticket sales is yours to keep. The raffle will be held at a practice in August and you to not need to be present to win!
  • What documentation is needed?: 2026 SAC Medical Clearance Form dated after 4/15/2026, Copy of Birth Certificate (Only applies to NEW players), $300 Equipment Deposit Check, $500 volunteer check, Copy of report card to prove grade level
  • Helmet Information: Helmets are provided for all RJT Football players. If you choose to purchase or use your own helmet please note that it must have be reconditioned and recertified within the last two years. So for instance, for the 2026 season it must have either a "2025" or "2026" recertification sticker on it or it cannot be used.
  • Will there be cuts?: Each team is allowed up to 35 on the roster. Although we do our best to keep all athletes, there may have to be cuts prior to the first pre-season game, depending on the number of people who register.
  • Who does RJT play against?: TBD
  • When are games?: Games are held on Saturdays starting in August through November. Jr. Pee Wees play at 10am, Pee Wee at 12pm, Jr. Midget at 2pm & Midget at 4pm. Due to field availability, some modifications may occur.
  • Is there a Volunteer Requirement?: Yes! Each family will be required to submit a volunteer hours deposit of $500 ($750 for families with 2 or more participants) or can choose to opt out at registration by paying upfront. The volunteer requirement is to work 8 hours per registrant, or 12 hours max for families with multiple children. Coaches, team parents, weigh master, PAR Master & board members are exempt.
  • Is this affiliated with RHS?: Yes! Although athletes from any location, district, city can participate, RJT is run very closely with the Rocklin High School Football program.
  • Is there a sibling discount?: Yes there is a $25 sibling discount
  • Will there be a Parent Meeting?: Yes! There will be a parent meeting held closer to the start of the season where we will go over the 2026 RJT Football Handbook.
